53 Claimants v. (1) “VICTORY KAZ ENERGY” LLP, (2) Balgabaev Murat Sarsenbaevich

The Claimants applied to the AIFC Court to recognize and enforce an arbitral award issued by the International Arbitration Centre. The Court granted the application and ordered Victory Kaz Energy LLP and its guarantor to pay jointly and severally the outstanding debt, legal costs, arbitrator’s fees, and a portion of the recovered penalty. The Court further directed that all recovered amounts be transferred to the bank account of the iKapitalist investment platform administrator for distribution among investors in accordance with the relevant agreements and investor register.
