30 December 2025

The AIFC Court and IAC, as part of Astana Finance Days 2025, hosted a panel discussion ‘Digital Transformation of Justice & the Future of Investment Capital Protection’ at their premises in Astana, Kazakhstan.

Astana Finance Days is Eurasia’s flagship financial forum that convenes top decision-makers to accelerate investment, strengthen markets, and unlock new business opportunities across the region. This year’s event featured a panel discussion by The Rt. Hon. The Lord Burnett of Maldon, the AIFC Court Chief Justice, and Mr. Thomas Krümmel, the IAC Chairman. Additionally, future developments, including real-time court transcription services and expanded digital access to justice, were discussed. Mr. Christopher Campbel-Holt OBE, Registrar and Chief Executive of the AIFC Court & IAC, commented:

“Digital technologies are rapidly transforming the way in which justice is being done. The justice sector is evolving rapidly. Countries, including China, US, UK, Kazakhstan, and institutions including the AIFC Court and the IAC, are at the forefront of this transformation. We are working with some of the world’s leading technology experts to integrate AI-assisted tools to improve the efficiency of our day-to-day dispute resolution working practices. The result is our judicial process being even faster, more transparent, and better equipped to serve investors now and for the foreseeable future. Our digital innovations began as long ago as 2019 with the launch of our E-justice and video-hearing technologies. Our goal is to always innovate and lead Eurasia on digital justice and provide a world class service to investors using our dispute resolution services.”
