The AIFC Court and IAC hosted a high-level delegation from Vietnam led by H.E. Mr. Nguyen Hoa Binh, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister of Vietnam.

The Registrar and Chief Executive of the AIFC Court and IAC, Mr. Christopher Campbell-Holt OBE, provided an overview of key considerations in establishing and operating modern international dispute resolution institutions, including on judicial independence, procedural efficiency, user-focused services, and the importance of trust and enforceability in cross-border disputes.

The visit underscored the AIFC Court’s and IAC’s role as internationally recognised centres for the development and application of best international practices in commercial dispute resolution.

The AIFC Court and IAC presented their 2025 results via the linked video, highlighting key case statistics, new initiatives, official visitors, promotions, cooperation, global recognition, and exciting plans for 2026.

The AIFC Court and IAC are the preferred institutions for international commercial dispute resolution in Eurasia. Their independence, application of the rule of law, user services, and facilities, have gained the trust of global corporations, and are ‘deal breakers’ securing billions of USD investments to Kazakhstan.

The AIFC Court and IAC participated in a panel discussion, ‘Ethical Parameters: Redefining Boundaries for Digital Intelligent Assistance in International Arbitration’, in Beijing, as part of the China Arbitration Summit 2025.

This was the flagship event of the China Arbitration Week and brought together leading global experts in arbitration and legal practice.

Mr. Christopher Campbell-Holt OBE, Registrar and Chief Executive of the AIFC Court and IAC, spoke about the benefits of using AI and digital technology in dispute resolution and the need for clear guidelines for its appropriate use in case proceedings. The AIFC Court and IAC will shortly publish new guidelines for appropriate use of AI in case proceedings.

The AIFC Court and IAC are the preferred choice in Eurasia by investors for international commercial dispute resolution and, as ‘Centres of Excellence’, continue to lead the way on dispute resolution innovation, technology and quality of dispute resolution services for investors coming to Kazakhstan.
