The Court considered applications seeking an Extended Civil Restraint Order against the Claimant in connection with a number of related proceedings. The Court reviewed the procedural history of the litigation and the parties’ submissions regarding future conduct of proceedings before the AIFC Court. Following that review, the Court granted the applications and imposed restrictions on the commencement of certain future claims and applications without prior permission of the Court. The order was issued for a specified period and included directions concerning the procedure for seeking such permission.

The Court considered an application for costs following an earlier decision granting a personal costs order in related proceedings. The Applicant sought recovery of costs incurred in connection with that application, including preparation of submissions, review of materials and participation in the hearing. Having considered the written materials and the absence of any response to the application, the Court awarded the claimed costs in full and ordered payment of USD 12,125.

The Court considered an application for declaratory relief following an earlier judgment concerning a contractual dispute between the parties. After the Claimant specified the declarations sought and the Defendant confirmed that it did not object to them, the Court considered the application. The Court declared that the Claimant’s obligation to transfer certain goods under an additional agreement had been fulfilled and further declared that the relevant contract had terminated on the specified date.
